Bernice von Lancaster is a lovely long haired 2 year old German Shepherd. She is a complete sweetheart like so many long haired German Shepherds. She rode down from Lancaster in a transport with Baxter. They are already connected and wait for each other to catch up. They could go as a dazzling pair, or alone or they will each bond quickly to any other family pets. We introduced her and Baxter to a cat and they were fine, we would want to do it again. Bernice is calm and walks well on the leash, she doesn’t pull. She is very affectionate and loved the attention she got from the volunteers. She is extremely patient and when her brushing took way too long, she just gave thank you kisses. Here is another amazing dog who ended up in the shelter, we guess because of the economy, no one in their right mind should have been able to part with her!
